How to make Energy Protein Ball Bite Recipes
You can easily make a batch of about 20 energy balls in under 15 minutes. They’re great as a snack after a workout, or for me, I love to grab them quickly before I jump on my commute!
Ingredients for the Protein Energy Ball Recipe
In the image above, clockwise from Right-to-Left, we used unsweetened almond milk, natural creamy peanut butter, organic local honey, pure vanilla extract, dark chocolate chips, cinnamon, chia seeds, Chocolate Plant based protein powder, and uncooked rolled oats. Also, note the tools you need – a spatula for stirring the mix, and spoons to get out the sticky honey and peanut butter.

Wet Ingredients:

Instructions

    1. Add in your dry ingredients together. In this specific recipe, you’ll combine your rolled oats, protein powder, cinnamon, and chia seeds in a large mixing bowl.
    2. Add in your sticky/wet ingredients – the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir to incorporate into a smooth mixture.
    3. Add in chocolate chip Stir to combine. Mixture should be slightly sticky but still crumbly.
    4. Slowly add in the Almond Milk 1 tablespoon at a time, and using your hands, combine until it comes together in a sticky ball that just barely holds together. If mixture is too dry, you can add in more Almond Milk, but be careful not too much that it will fall apart. Remember, you can always add more, but not take some away!
    5. Since they are a bit difficult to ‘roll’ into balls, so you’ll want to use your hands to press them into spheres.
    6. Place into an air tight container to let rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. (I’m guilty of eating them right after making them.. quality control!)
    7. Store in fridge until ready to eat.

Refrigerated, these bites can last up to two weeks!
